When you have a lot of courses on your Moodle dashboard, it can be helpful to place a star in the course tile for courses you need quick access to on the dashboard. To place a star in the course panel select the three dots from the course tile and then select "Star this course". See the image below.
Once the course tile is starred, you can now filter the Course Overview panel to sort and only display "starred" course tiles. See the image below.
If you have a lot of courses on your dashboard, placing a star on the courses you would like to have quick access to can save time.
