Hurricane Laura (Category 4 Hurricane) impacted the Lake Charles area and McNeese campus. McNeese officials are assessing the campus for damage. Monitor your McNeese email and the McNeese website for updates. You can monitor the local news from the Lake Charles American Press website or mobile app and you also view streaming news from the KPLC-TV (7 News) website and app. Download the apps from your device's app store. You can also view coverage from several national media sources for information about recovery.
Campus Is Closed Through Monday, September 17th. This means that online classes are also closed and Moodle may or may not be available while damage is being determined and recovery is in process. Because intermitted outages may occur, if you can not access or log into Moodle, wait several minutes and try again.
Classes will resume on Tuesday, September 18th.
