Supported Resources
Microsoft Teams and BigBlueButton are a video-conferencing platforms that McNeese owns the licenses to and supports with IT staff and a helpdesk. Both services allow you to engage in live Web conversations with your students using audio, video, and text-based chat features.
Faculty, staff and students use their McNeese ID and password to access these tools from MyMcNeese > Office 365 page >Teams and for BigBlueButton within Moodle by adding BigBlueButton as an activity/resource to a course module. Participants can then use the web link to join in on live conversations.

Skype: Meet Now
Click on the link for an in depth overview Meet Now. The Meet Now meeting allows you to easily set up a collaboration space and invite both Skype contacts and friends or family who are not on Skype. Participants can then easily join meetings whether they have an account or not.

The resources below were identified as free, however, if you have difficulty or a disruption with service, these services are not supported with help from the Computer Services Department and eLearning. You would need to work with each vendor to resolve any issues.
