How to Access eBooks and Courseware in IA

Inclusive Access (IA) with RedShelf provides students with access to eBooks and publisher courseware. For definitions of other useful IA terms, click here.

eBooks:
Students access their eBook on the RedShelf eReader, which is embedded within the LMS. Students can opt-out of eBook access.

Courseware:
Students can access their courseware in one of two ways, depending on the course materials manager's preference.

With codeless access, students access their courseware via the publisher's link in the LMS. This is facilitated by RedShelf without the need to log into the publisher environment or enter an access code. Students can opt-out of access, and billing reports are provided to the campus store.

Alternatively, RedShelf can provide students with courseware access codes, which they use to access courseware on the publisher's site.
